Termite ControlTermites are among the most destructive insect pests in the Northwest. Only a carpenter ant rivals their destruction.Pacific Dampwood Termite This is our largest termite species. They can be up to 1 inch in length including the wings and are cream colored to dark brown. Possible infestations occur near leaky plumbing, roofs or gutters and wet or damp wood from soil contact. They attach and live in the wood they feed on rather than returning to the soil.Western Subterranean Termite These termites are much smaller. The winged form is approximately 3/8 inch long, including the wings. They are dark brown to brownish-black with brownish-grey wings. Possible infestations occur when buildings are constructed near or on pre-existing nests, which is common with new home construction. Since the subterranean termites’ main nest is in the soil, they will construct hollow mud tubes to reach wood structures, making any wood structure a potential site of infestation. We Proudly Serve The State Of Washington Including:Seattle | Bellevue | Everett | Tacoma | Bellingham | Kent | Federal Way | Renton | Redmond
